What does a ballkid do?

Ballkids play an integral role in ensuring that tennis tournaments run smoothly.

Throughout the Australian Open series, each ballkid is a focal part of every game, be it at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne or at the ATP Cup or at the Hobart International.

Who can be a ballkid?

Ballkids are aged between 12 and 15 years * on 31 December 2021.

* ATP Cup Sydney, Brisbane and Perth Ballkids age category is 12 to 16.

How do I apply?

You can register by completing the form below. By registering for the Ballkid Program you are indicating that you would like to be considered to participate in the Australian Open and Australian Open Series Events across Australia.

Please note that trials and training sessions are held in each events home state e.g. AO training will be held in Victoria. If you select event outside your home state you are acknowledging that there will be a requirement to travel.

Please note that Australian Open 2022 registrations have closed. Registrations for all other summer events are still open
